We are the premier youth hockey association in the Pacific Northwest — a perennial powerhouse in player development with a proven record of elevating athletes from their first strides to highly competitive levels of play. Through our close partnership with the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks Hockey Club, our players benefit from access to both their game arena and practice facilities, gaining exposure to a true high-performance environment while staying rooted in a strong community culture.

Now operating out of two full-time rinks — Beaverton and Sherwood — we continue to expand our reach and capacity to serve families across the region. Our primary home, Winterhawks Skating Center in Beaverton, has been a cornerstone of youth hockey development in the Portland community for more than 60 years. The addition of Sherwood Ice Arena strengthens our ability to deliver consistent ice access, development opportunities, and programming across multiple locations.

We proudly serve players across all age groups, from Tom’s Tykes (6U/8U) all the way through 18U, offering a complete development pathway that supports skaters at every stage. Whether a player is learning the fundamentals or competing at a high-performance level, our programs are designed to cultivate skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for the game.

We are also home to the 16U Tier II National Champions, a testament to the strength of our development model, the dedication of our coaching staff, and the relentless work ethic of our athletes. Together, our two-rink system allows us to offer a competitive, inclusive, and development-driven environment that inspires excellence both on and off the ice.
